With the “T” option in the help menu, you can set the system time on the board. There are additional functions when a RTC shield of type DS1307 is connected to the board. Upon restarting the board, the time from the connected RTC is set. The “T” help function not only changes the system time but also the time of the RTC when connected to the I2C bus. This allows you to set or correct the time on both the board and the RTC. The UNIX time stamp can be easily found on the internet; for example, convert the correct time to UNIX format and use the T command from the help menu. Note: When connected to HMI, the HMI will update the time. If an RTC is connected, the time of the RTC is also updated.
