With nearly 42 years of work experience, I have built a broad technical background. My career started in the steel industry, where I worked for 12.5 years, followed by another 12.5 years at a drinking water company. For now 17 years, I am active as a project manager at Batenburg Beenen in the field of industrial installations, mainly working in the drinking water industry.
In 2016, I discovered Arduino and was quickly captivated by its endless possibilities. What started as small electrical projects for the annual village festival soon became a tradition – and an ever-growing technical adventure. On rainy days, I dive back into new ideas, expand existing projects (like my saltwatertank) and continue learning.
And how about Bauke? Well…, there may have been some resemblance a long time ago, but these days, I prefer working with cartoons!
